Refund & Service Policy
Bloke Realty: Professional Property Management in Moreton Bay
At Bloke Realty, we provide professional services, not physical goods. Because we value honesty and the "no-fluff" approach, we want to be clear about how we handle fees and refunds for our Moreton Bay landlords and clients.
1. Service Fees & Performance Fees for professional services, including management fees, letting fees, and advertising costs, are generally non-refundable once the specific task has been performed.
2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. If we fail to meet a service guarantee:

For a minor problem: We will fix the issue within a reasonable timeframe at no extra cost.

For a major problem: You may be entitled to cancel your service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion of your fees.
3. Change of Mind As per standard real estate practice in Queensland, we do not offer refunds for "change of mind" once an Appointment of Agent (Form 6) has been signed and work has commenced. For example, if you decide not to rent your property after we have already launched marketing across Moreton Bay portals, the advertising costs incurred are not refundable.
4. Trust Account Funds All funds held in the Bloke Realty Trust Account are managed according to Queensland’s Office of Fair Trading regulations. If funds are overpaid or held in error, we will process a refund to the original source within 5 business days of verification.
